Midsummer - Time of neverending activities

Join us for Lapland’s unique summers with clear blue lakes, beautiful fell scenery and, most important, the amazing nights of midnight sun. We will introduce you to exciting summer adventures such as river rafting, quad biking or canoeing. You will find freely flowing rivers, crystal-clear lakes, vast forests, and animals and plants in their natural habitat in the nearly untouched nature. And of course the fells and the arctic flat-top mountains. All our programmes are planned with safety and environmental consideration in mind. The participants are provided with full equipment and safety rules are always given before starting the engines.

Program First Day

Arrival at the Kittilä airport - guided transfer to Harriniva (1 hour)  - Check-in to cosy rooms - delicious welcome dinner with traditional lappish food in  Aurora Borealis Kota restaurant -  during dinner Joiku-performance given by a singer - Overnight in Harriniva

Program Second Day

Guided tour in the Arctic Sled dog Center of Harriniva with over 350 husky dogs - transfer to lake Muoni (ca. 2,5 km) - canoe trip. Lunch on a Gourmettraft - after lunch quadbike safari to the Olos fell - after returning to Harriniva typical Finnish sauna and a bath in the Muonio river - dinner in the cosy Kuukkeli restaurant - Overnight in Harriniva.

Program Third Day

Transfer to the reindeer farm in Torassieppi (25 km) - information about reindeer herding and visit of the interesting museum - transfer to the old fisherman’s village of Keimiöniemi -  chance to try fishing - lunch - river rafting tour in the evening with little tasks you need to accomplish - arrival at summer camp in Äijäkoski - dinner around an open fire - Lappish baptism given by a shaman after dinner - Overnight in Harriniva.

Program Fourth Day

Breakfast -  transfer to the airport and flight back home
