Comfortable accommodation and good
Lappish food are the basic elements of a
successful holiday. Main Lappish activities
– snowmobile safari and husky safari are
included, the rest you can choose yourself!
These short tours are also suitable for
beginners. This programme can be operated
from Harriniva or Jeris hotels.

Sunday
Arrival to Kittilä airport, transfer to Muonio
Harriniva Holiday Centre/ Hotel Jeris.
Accommodation in cosy double rooms with
shower and toilet. Dinner in the restaurant.

Monday

Breakfast in the hotel restaurant. In the
morning free time to go skiing by your own
or to book additional tours. Early afternoon
you will meet your guide who will give you
the snowmobile driving instructions and
safety regulations. After that you will start
the snowmobile safari through forests
and frozen lakes, the perfect fell scenery.
Driving distance is approx. 30 km. You will
be driving 2 persons per snowmobile. After
the active day a relaxing sauna is waiting for
you. The dinner is served in the restaurant,
overnight in hotel in double room basis.

Tuesday

After breakfast you will meet with your
guide and our happy huskies - there are
over 400 husky dogs in our husky farm.
After the guided tour in husky farm and
driving and safety instructions you will start
the 2-hour husky safari – 2 persons per
husky team. The driving distance is ca. 17
km. Return to hotel. In the afternoon free
time or optional activities. Sauna, dinner
and overnight.

Wednesday

Breakfast in restaurant. Today a very
special guest is waiting for you as you go on
a visit Santa in his cabin! Departure
from Harriniva in a snowmobile sled, sing
along as you drive through the beautiful
snow covered forest. After approximately
10-15minutes drive you will see a candle lit
path to a log cabin in the middle of the
forest. Santa’s elf will greet you in the sled
and guide you one family at the time by foot
the last meters to the cabin. Santa will
spend a moment of his precious time with
your family in the warmth of the fireplace in
his cabin, you can leave him your wish list
or just give a hug, he would like that!
After dinner departure for the Aurora
hunt! The chances of seeing the famous
‘Aurora Borealis’ or northern lights are
great on this night tour on snowmobile
sled. The approximately 20km tour takes
you to the top of a nearby fell, where you
will enjoy some warm drinks and feel how
the sky is closer and stars brighter… You
enjoy the ride in guide’s sled or drive your
own snowmobile with extra cost. Overnight
in double rooms.

Thursday

After the breakfast transfer to Kittilä airport.
