Welcome to Galdotieva

Fell Center Galdotieva has a unique location above the pine tree line, close to the Norwegian border. You can find it by the main road between Hetta in Finland and Kautokeino in Norway. The nearest airport in Enontekiö is only an hours drive away. Galdotieva has alltogether 10 log cabins, offering accommodation and restaurant services for groups of up to 50 guests.

Galdotieva is surrounded by fells and is right by the Palojärvi Lake. It is an ideal place for active holiday makers as well as nature lovers. These natural surroundings offer an amazing setting for different activities and for appreciating the untouched beauty of the Northern Lapland.

Summer activities in Galdotieva include fishing, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking in the fells and river rafting. During autumn you can appreciate the ’ruska’, the colourful seasonal change when the forests of Lapland turn vivid red, orange and yellow in preparation for winter. The colourful autumn foliage is followed by winter twilight when the sun does not rise above the horizon, though it is lighter during the day. During the winter season you have the opportunity to cross country ski and explore the surrounding fells by snowmobile.
